Calgary, Alberta | May 11–13, 2026
i2G proudly marked a significant milestone in its innovation journey with the official launch of the first version of its platform at GeoConvention 2026, one of Canada’s premier geoscience conferences, held in Calgary, Alberta from May 11 to 13, 2026.

GeoConvention 2026 brought together more than 3,000 geoscience and energy professionals and featured over 50 exhibiting organizations showcasing the latest technologies and innovations shaping the future of the industry.
The event brought together leading professionals, researchers, technology providers, and decision-makers from across the energy and geoscience sectors to explore emerging technologies shaping the future of resource development. Against this backdrop, i2G introduced its first-generation platform designed to leverage Agentic AI for the oil and gas industry.
A highlight of the event was a featured presentation by i2G CEO, Trung Doan, who shared insights on the transformative potential of Agentic AI in oil and gas exploration and production. His presentation explored how autonomous AI agents can assist geoscientists and engineers in navigating complex datasets, accelerating interpretation workflows, improving operational decision-making, and unlocking greater value from subsurface information.

“Agentic AI represents a fundamental shift in how industrial knowledge is captured, analyzed, and transformed into actionable intelligence,” said Trung Doan during his presentation. “Our vision at i2G is to empower energy professionals with intelligent systems that can collaborate, reason, and continuously learn from operational data.”
The launch attracted strong interest from industry professionals seeking innovative solutions to address increasing data complexity, workforce challenges, and the growing demand for operational efficiency within the energy sector.
GeoConvention 2026 provided an excellent platform for i2G to engage with industry leaders, showcase its technological capabilities, and gather valuable feedback from potential partners and customers. The event also reinforced i2G’s commitment to advancing digital transformation through practical AI applications tailored to the unique needs of the energy industry.
As i2G continues to evolve its platform, the company remains focused on developing next-generation Agentic AI solutions that enable organizations to make faster, smarter, and more confident decisions across the exploration, development, and production lifecycle. We extend our sincere appreciation to the GeoConvention organizers, attendees, and industry partners who contributed to the success of this important milestone.
